CAT | Bowling
These days bowling centers are far less about bars, smoking, and old men than ever before. In times past many people didn’t think a bowling alley was a kid friendly place but these days things have changed. Most bowling establishment’s have games, are smoke-free, and some even have kid’s play areas and are designed to cater to the family more than ever before.
Many bowling centers still do a lot of their business centered on the league bowler but kid’s birthday parties are becoming a major trend in bowling center’s across the States. For many bowling alleys the birthday party is the major revenue driver and thus it is the focus of the day crowd. Many of these bowling centers have sensed the need for quality kid friendly entertainment and they have become quite proficient at throwing excellent parties so that you don’t have to host them yourself in your own home.
The draw of throwing a birthday party for your kids at a local bowling center is obvious – you don’t have to host a large group of kids at your house. You don’t have to clean up after them. You don’t have to cook for them. Bowling alley birthday parties are really just as simple as booking the event, decorating, and buying food from the center or coordinating to have food brought in.
Bowling costs are factored into the event and often you can get package deals on the rental of a lot of kids bowling shoes, bowling shoes for women and men, as well as on the bulk purchase of food and beverages. And because the party is at the lanes the kids will be occupied leaving you a little more time to relax than you would if you hosted the party at home. You may even be able to strap on some shoes and throw a few shots yourself.
